Maybe in the future we can have the white walls power washed or painted. They are beginning to look pretty bad. We should have pride in our neighborhood. Its the first thing you see when entering. Other walls in the city are kept up. We need a little cleaning.Just a thought.

Your observation about the Willo-Esque perimeter walls is a good one. There have been discussions at recent board meetings about cleaning and/or painting them in the future. Unfortunetly, there are other major maintenance issues that currently are out priortizing this issue. You can see the 5 year plan for major projects on the Willo-Esque website. The Willo-Esque board is currently receiving bids from painting contractors to understand future costs associated with this task. We will present the data at the next board meeting. Fred, could / should the WHA BoD also request bids for simply power washing the walls. Knowing that any action taken would still be in the future, getting the bids now would allow for any future analization of the project to be complete and equal. Apples (painting) -vs Oranges (power washing).
