Good morning Dave. You are right on with your question. I met with one of the contractors this past Friday and we will be receiving 2 bids from them. One for just the power washing and the other one for power washing and painting. The contractor indicated that when you paint the walls, you need to power wash it before painting so the paint adheres to the concrete better.We looked at the walls together and he thought that most of the dirt and stains would come off with power washing but they have a lot of stuff on them from over the years so just power washing might not get everything. I have another meeting with a different painting contractor tomorrow (Monday) to get his perspective and pricing so we can have some comparative data for future planning.
