Country Hollow Neighborhood Association (CHNA) general meetings are usually held at the Hefner Police Station and office bearers for the year are selected during the general meeting. CHNA appreciates and thanks the participating residents for their extended support in improving our neighborhood. Initiatives to increase member participation are absolutely necessary and critical  in ensuring a quality life in the neighborhood. It is also important to reinvest every year in efforts to continue maintenance along the entrance. Lawn and lighting maintenance along the entrance is considered to be a key factor in preserving property values for a neighborhood. CHNA encourages non participating residents to extend their support towards improving our neighborhood.  We also ask residents to help with neighborhood patrol throughout the year. Residents willing to help with neighborhood patrol may contact the Country Hollow Exchange for additional information.

Country Hollow Exchange

Our neighborhood email service allows residents to communicate with each other rapidly to: sell items; obtain service and product referrals; search for lost pets (or advise of a “found” pet); make announcements; render opinions; and offer just about any other item of importance or interest. Most importantly, alerts are issued on criminal and other suspicious activities in the neighborhood. To become a member of the “Country Hollow Exchange”, you must (1) have access to the internet, (2) be a Country Hollow resident and (3) send an email giving your name and address to: countryhollowexchange@yahoo.com

CHNA Dues

The common areas at the entrance are typically mowed twice every month during spring/summer months. Lawn mowing and lighting at the entrance exhausts the CHNA dues which are collected each year. Emphasis on member participation is very important.  There has never been a more important time to reinvest in the quality of life in our neighborhood. Your dues will help in continuing entrance lawn and lighting maintenance.
CHNA Dues for each year is $75 per individual household and $50 for senior citizens. Following is the address for mailing the dues check made payable to “Country Hollow Neighborhood Association”.

CHNA General Meeting

During the January 29, 2009 CHNA meeting, we failed to have the required quorum per CHNA by laws of at least 10 members present who are in good standing with the Association including 3 out of the 4 officers. Therefore, no business was transacted or votes taken.

There were 8 total people present, 6 of whom are members with 2 of the 6 being officers in addition to a representative of Country Hollow IV who was present along with a current resident of CHNA who had not been a member in 2008 but is a former CHNA board member.

It was the conscious decision of those present that the meeting be rescheduled. Additionally, it was determined that a letter will be drafted and mailed to every home in Country Hollow (139) explaining the Neighborhood Association, the need for participation and the lack of a quorum for the scheduled annual January Business meeting. Contained with this letter is to be a stamped return envelope for easy payment of 2009 CHNA dues.

We will be looking to schedule the annual meeting at a later date at either the Hefner Police Station, Francis Tuttle Vo-Tech or at Lake Side Assembly Church. The finalized date, time and location for the next CHNA general meeting will be indicated in a letter that will be mailed out to residents.
