Copper Creek Neighborhood Association

CCNA is a volunteer Neighborhood Association (NA) and began about 10 years ago. The original intent of the Neighborhood Association was to maintain the entrance off 178th Street and keep a community spirit alive. A sprinkler system was installed and we have a professional lawn maintenance company take care of the front entrance. CCNA also found volunteers for Block captains to distribute the newsletter, collect dues and welcome new arrivals.

The Copper Creek Neighborhood Association asks that each home pay either a yearly fee of $50 or $30 twice a year during dues drives in March and September.

How Are Dues Used?

It costs over $4,000 for the upkeep of the front entrance. So the bulk of dues (last year 93%)are used for this purpose. But for as little as $5.00/month, you receive the benefit of a well kept entrance to your neighborhood which results on a positive impact on your home value. What little money is leftover is used for a Neighborhood Fall Festival, a Neighborhood Garage Sale in May, newsletters and misc.

About our association

Copper Creek Neighborhood

The Copper Creek neighborhood has some special circumstances due to its location. The neighborhood is located in the northwest area of Oklahoma City limits but it is less than one mile from Edmond City Limits. Our utilities are Oklahoma City based and our city councilman is Guy Liebmann of Oklahoma City but we are in the Edmond Public School district. Due to our location in NW Oklahoma City and close proximity to Edmond with the use of Edmond schools, we feel we have the best of both worlds.
