Good morning, neighbors.

I called the Health Department's mosquito hotline to ask that they spray for mosquitoes in our area. The recorded message said they respond, on a priority basis, by how many calls they receive from within the one mile area.

Please give them a call at 595-4219 so they will have our neighborhood on the ''to spray list.''

I did call, and I hope everyone does. The mosquitoes have really been bad.

May I suggest that we need a better way of communicating issues such as this? Yours is the first message I've seen in months.
