Zoning on Century Park

This land was last zoned in the 70's.You can imagine all the uses that fall in the old lists of retail - auto repair, tire shop, restuarants, and more

The owner did not attend the planning and zoning hearings which recommended a catagory office one and no entry from Century Park.

The owner and lawyer appeared late at the city council .The issue is postpones until  the first council meeting April 7 at 7PM at city hall.

All of us need to show an interest and attend.Ask to support the staff choice on office one and to not allow an enterance from Centurt Park.,Those homes are SOO close and traffic would be more then the constant we have now.

UPDATE

The city council rezoned the open land only to office one but allowed 12 retail uses also.The owner prevailed and has an entrance from Century Park.We have continued to ask to have no CP access but to have access from Beltline due to the residential street with homes close by and traffic issues.No answer was given as to when the last traffic study was done, the results and how this would impact emergency services going to the the many streets and homes in those subdivisions.
