Leslie Jones has contacted our councilman and the parks dept to look at some issues.The new equipment makes this park a more user friendly site for families and kiddos. The issues are 1. traffic - both volume and speed .Leslie has requested a speed and traffic study for us to handle the corner of Apollo and Pebblecreek.2.the inappropriate use of the park by older kids doing wheelies on the slides and grass - as well as some other illegal activities.In the past, Leah and I have patrolled the park as the citizens on patrol, reported and found the offending speeders on Apollo and our GPD has put night checks as available. The first plan is to ask any who are interested in having a 4 way stop at Pebblecreek and Apollo to contact the transportation dept.In order to coordinate contacts,please feel free to email me - or call - for the info.
