Just an FYI - someone knocked on our door around Feb1, 2000. Very cold night.
He said, through the unopended door, that he was a Pizza Hut delivery man, and his car had stopped, and wanted to know if we could give him a jump. I said we didn''t have jumper cables, ( since I couldn''t really see him and it seemed strange) He said he had them, and wondered if we just had time to do it. Our cars are in garage, so really he didn''t see whether we had a car or not. Anyway, seemed suspicious since when I looked out the other windows I did not see a car ( out of the ordinary) and he could have gone to store down the street. Just wanted to alert people - seems he could have called his employer if true. I never opened the door - but the good samaratine in me felt badly.
