Free to good home!
We had to have our beloved rescue German Shepherd put down Christmas Eve, and in my grief and worry about our other dog's lonliness, I found a sad story online and adopted Cooper, a sweet black-and-tan coonhound mix who had been shot and left by the side of a road. He is so cute and loving (and in perfect health), but is now full grown (about 50 lbs...was about 6-7 months and 35 lbs when I adopted him in Jan) and ALWAYS wants to wrestle Boomer....who is half his size and 6 years old. He's just wearing him out, plus Cooper needs more exercise than I can give him....what he really needs is an active 8-12 year old!!!
He is neutered, up to date on shots, EXTREMELY friendly, house trained, mostly black with brown "accents," has free run of the house and is trust-worthy. If he would just stop wrestling Boomer, would never even CONSIDER finding another home for him!! Trained only to "sit" so, as any puppy, would need to be taught other commands. Don't want to put anything in the Courier, as worry about him being harmed, so figured this is the safest! We live at the corner of Springcrest and Haddon, and he is usually with me out working in the yard, so feel free to walk past for a "preview" or call me @ 426-3162 if you are interested!!
