The most pressing issue facing the newly elected Trustees, based upon resident feedback, was getting a new Chevington Woods Family Directory printed and distributed. The last Directory was printed in 1996 and updating the information was a formidable task. Hundreds of volunteer hours were spent on the project.

Notwithstanding a team effort to ensure accuracy, the Trustees are aware that some mistakes are contained in the new Directory. Corrections were inserted as new data became available but at some point the decision to go to press had to be made.

Nevertheless, the CWCA is maintaining an ongoing database of current residential information and future Directories should be more accurate and up-to-date. Please advise your Area Trustee if you have corrections to offer to the CWCA database of residential information. The information, after name and address, in the Directory is listed as Telephone number; Lot Number and CWCA Area Number.

Directory updates, which can be penciled in, will be included in the Chevington Woods News.

Every resident of Chevington Woods can be assured that any information on file in the CWCA database is used for CWCA communication with residents only. We are aware that anyone can share a Chevington Woods Directory with a telemarketer or politician. We have no control over what an individual does with his Directory. However, the Officers of the Chevington Woods Civic Association, Inc. are the keepers of the Association computer database and will not share it with any other entity ?– period!
