Vice President Roeder called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. It was noted that President Comanita and Treasurer Briggs had reported to the Secretary their need to be absent due to circumstances beyond their control.

The presiding officer ascertained the presence of a quorum with six (6) trustees in attendance:

Will Snell, Secretary
Julie Squier, Trustee
Janet Price, Trustee
Teresa Hartley, Trustee
Lisa Ross, Trustee

Reading of the minutes: The Chair noted the minutes of the January 17, 2005 regular meeting had been previously distributed via email to the trustees and advised, that if there were no objections, the minutes could be approved as distributed. Thereafter, Trustee Ross moved the minutes be approved as previously distributed. The motion was duly seconded and passed without dissent.

Correspondence: None.

Treasurer’s Report: Treasurer Briggs was absent. However, Secretary Snell read an email received from Treasurer Briggs in regard to the format of dues notices, particularly the formatting of dues in arrears. Following discussion among the Trustees assembled it was the consensus of opinion that the amount and year for which the arrearage was due should be shown on the dues statement for clarity as suggested by the Treasurer.

Reports of Standing Committees: None

Deed Restriction Committee:

Secretary Snell reported the December ice storm had taken a heavy toll on many homes in Chevington Woods and suggested that residents should have time to deal with the storm damage problem prior to the serving of further deed restriction citations. Following discussion it was the consensus of opinion among the Trustees assembled that the Deed Restriction Committee should proceed as appropriate under the circumstances.
