CCA?’s Board of Directors unanimously agreed to make addressing business owner?’s security concerns their number one priority. According to a survey, 33 out of 46 businesses were victims of break-ins within a time span of eight months.

?“If CCA?’s purpose is to attract more viable businesses to our community, then we have to secure the area to make Central City more inviting,?” said Elaine Fontana, VP of CCA?’s Board.

A security committee, comprised of local businesses, was formed to begin strategizing on how to effectively work with the 7th & 13th Precincts to create a safer business district for all stakeholders of Central City.
