Central City Alliance is comprised of business and commercial property owners that are taking a stand to take control of the condition of their community. To expedite the redevelopment of Central City, CCA is partnering with for profit developers and financial institutions to help save the declining business district. CCA is harnessing the Renaissance Zone's powerful marketing tool - no taxes - to rebuild Central City.

About CCA

Established in November 2000, Central City Alliance is a 501(c)3 neighborhood Community Economic Development Corporation. Central City Alliance has a unified vision for its community development activities, and integrates economic, physical, community, and human development into comprehensive and coordinated strategies that enable all members of the community to work together to solve local problems. Our mission is to combat community deterioration to help revitalize Central City, a 1 1/2 square mile area adjacent to the prosperous New Center Area in Detroit, Michigan.

*To support Central City's safety and physical appearance

*To create a cooperative and synergistic climate for Central City

*To market available space, new developments, employment and business opportunities
