I am the Chairman of the Harry Stone Crime Watch. We are your bordering Crime Watch group on the other side of Ferguson from you.
We have been working diligently for over 2 years now to get MANY changes at Harry Stone Park. Recently, I found out that the Officials in charge have been deceptive with their promises.
This effects your crime watch group since this is the Community Park for our area. Without everyone's help, we might end up losing this park. Another group on Lower Ferguson was just approved for $5 million in the 2006 Bond Election to build a brand new, larger park about 3-5 miles from our area.
I am meeting with the Asst. Director of the Parks Dept. next week and need any input I can get from people that are affected by this issue. I plan on taking this as far as I have to in order to get this park improved, which in turn will help this area drastically!
