About our association

CWNA Committed to Our Neighborhood

Capitol West Neighborhood Association is a membership-based, nonprofit organization that serves to mobilize the community to address important issues named by the people in our area and to achieve a safe, economically stable and inclusive neighborhood.

Taking Action to Make Our Neighborhood Stronger

CWNA, since its inception in 1995, has organized and participated in many important projects: reporting and removing graffiti; organizing neighborhood cleanup and beautification efforts; holding candidate forums; holding public meetings on important issues, supporting neighborhood schools; promoting public safety; and much more.

Your Opinion Counts

CWNA looks forward to a strong, vibrant Capitol West neighborhood for years to come. We're counting on your help! Not sure what to do? We have many volunteer projects throughout the year that help lead to a safer, cleaner and more vibrant neighborhood. Please call our voice mail line at 921-0912. Leave your name and phone number, and a brief message about the times you are available to help, or the types of projects that interest you. We would love to count you in this year!
