The Byron Cox American Legion Post 72 serves our community in many ways, providing moral and financial support to numerous community organizations and causes. The Legion advocates for veteran causes on the local, state, and national levels. The spirit of mutual helpfulness is our guide. Our goal is to transmit to posterity the principles of Justice, Freedom, and Democracy.
Most of our activities take place at our headquarters located at 101 Walter Remley Drive, adjacent to the National Guard Armory on South Washington St, Crawfordsville.
We have Bingo on Friday evenings (everyone welcome), frequent musical entertainment on Saturday nights, and special events throughout the year. Many events are open to the public. Members are welcome to join us for lunch on Saturdays and supper on the first Tuesday of the month (at a nominal charge).
Camaraderie and fellowship are always the watchwords of the day. See the newsletter for more information about the Legion.
