A summary of the Covenants & Restrictions of by-laws

All exterior alterations must be approved by the Architectural Review Committee (ARC). Example: fences, decks, exterior paint / vinyl colors, playground equipment, satellite dishes, etc.

Please remember that you have to present plans and specifications to the ARC if you are seeking approval for an exterior change.

No permanent basketball hoops and backboards. Potable ones may not be left outside overnight (10PM to 8AM).

Playground equipment shall be constructed of natural wood with natural wood finish (no paint) and shall be maintained in good condition.

All pets must be on leash or enclosed in fenced yard. Use pooper-scooper when walking your dog.

Two household pets allowed per home.

No resident parking on street, except for social gatherings.

No more than two cars can be parked in each driveway.

Recreational vehicles, boats, etc. are not permitted to be parked in the drive or street longer than 48 hours to allow owners time to find other storage or parking.

Trash cans may be put out no earlier than the night before pickup to reduce litter.

No artificial vegetation permitted on exterior of properties. Exterior fountains, flagpoles, flags must be approved.

Welcome to the neighborhood -

The Brownstone Homeowners' Association (BHOA) is made up of residents in the Brownstone sub-division. Every homeowner is a member of the association. Dues are $20 per month. The BHOA is the collective community voice for addressing Brownstone issues such as zoning, security, beautification, metropolitan services and environment. Community meetings are held once every quarter and are open to all Brownstone Residents.

About your Board -

The Board for Brownstone consists of five volunteer homeowners. These positions are elected by association members for a term of ???? years at the community meetings. The board handles the business of the Association and oversees the Property Manager and staff.

The Board meets the ?????? of each month in a board members home. Homeowners are encouraged to attend these meetings to provide suggestions and ask questions or just to observe how their Board operates.

Each Board Mamber is also the Chairperson for one of the five sub-committees.

About your Porperty Manager -

Brownstone has a resident Property Manager who handles the day-to-day management. These individuals receive and deposits maintenance fees and many other tasks required to maintain our property.

Our current Property Manager is Gasser Property Management.
