This is a non-profit community civic association.It was founded by Lawrence Brown 37 Lotus Circle N. 19701 in May 2001.It is for the benefit of the social,political,health,education and welfare of the community.

Membership

People are eligible to become members by paying an annual fee set by the executive council. Ther are three types of membership.
1. Member: resident votes and discuss issues
2.Associate Member: Non voter is able to submit suggestions by letter to the board.
3. Honorary Member: is a person who wants to be affiliated with the association.Non-voter

Projects

Our projects will be centered around the positive enhancement of the community ,the membership and our progressive image to the society at-large.

Hi neighbors! Lets' make our area into the most fantastic and greatest community in Delaware! How ,by becoming a member in our civic association(Brennan Estates Association residents: BE A R ! We are for positive interaction between neighbors and creating positive functions and events in our community.

First event : BE U Day

Our first community event was on September 29,2001.This event was to commemorate the lives of the many people who lost there lives and were injured because of the tragic terorist attack on "9/11/01.The comunity assembled at the multi-purpose field in a circle around"The Stars and Stripes" and sang "God Bless America" Many neighbors gave personal and inspiraling remarks. Every section of Brennan was represented to honors our heroes of "9/11". As we held hands in the circle of harmony and unity, we proclaimed that each September the community would assemble in memory of those who perished and to celebrate "The American Spirit".

American Flag and Liberty Tree.

The community members stated that we would erect a flagpole at the front entrance of Brennan Estates and Plant a "Liberty Tree" as a tribute to our servicemen and women in the military and our firemen/women,EMTs, and police officers.They are on the front line of "Operation Enduring Freedom"
