The Blendon Township Police Department is pleased to announce that an arrest has been made in regards to the overnight residential burglaries that occurred within Mexico, Natalie Court, Bashaw, and Montevideo.

With the assistance of family members, this subject turned himself in to police on Sunday October 26, 2008. This subject was charged with four counts of Burglary and several additional other charges. Future charges may also be added.

B.T.P.D. thanks the public for all it's assistance with providing information and keeping vigilant against crime in the area. Please continue to be watchful and call police with any suspicious activity or persons.

I would also like to add that the suspect responsible for these incidents has an admitted drug addiction and he is a mere 17 years old. If you suspect that a loved one or friend is in a situation where substance abuse is destroying their life, please contact the police department and we can provide information and resources to assist.
