Does anyone know what the City Ordinance is for constuction in residential areas. While it is very nice to see construction and a plus that a brand new house will be going up, people really close trying to get young kids to sleep at 9:30 at night is finding it annoying that it continues into late evening

Ron,

I went on the city's website; they changed it! If you want an ordnance, you have to go page by page unless you know the ordnance number. Seems like most everything is geared to the 311 service. I have used 311 and have had good luck in the past. Be sure to get a reference number for future ref.

For the past, I am thinking cut off time was 8 or 9 pm but don't quote me on that. I would think 311 could tell you or transfer you to someone who could tell you.

Sorry I am not more help.

Eddie

The crew tearing house down is done and gone but not until after tearing up the pavement in alley and damaging a brand new privacy fence at the house next door. Habitat has been out and assured everyone that when construction is done they will make sure everything is fixed. Sure the crew that builds the new house will be better. The guy tearing it down was very rude. Habitat said it is going to be a 2 story to keep with what the majority the houses around it is. Was not given a time frame on when construction will start on new house
