Just six miles outside of Key West on Big Coppitt Key (Mile Marker 10)you will find the Big Coppitt First Baptist Church. Our church is located right in the heart of Big Coppitt Key community. Our church was started as a mission of White Street Baptist Church in 1962 to start ''Shining the Light'' of Jesus Christ to the community.
Big Coppitt First Baptist Church is known as a friendly and loving body of believers. The average age is 30-45, mostly families with children. The atmosphere of our church is not formal but open and casual. We have a blended style of worship, using both traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship songs and choruses.
As God continues to work all around us, we desire to join Him in His work and continue to ....''Let Our Light Shine!''
