Association Retains Landscape Contractor

Following discussion on the company's first year performance, the Barristers Place Board has elected to retain Community Landscape Services as the association landscape maintenance contractor.

Community will move into the second year of a three year contract awarded in early 2011.  The contract includes mowing and edging the Abbotsford median as well as cutting and maintaining the Lawyers Road entrance and  the property on Abbotsford Drive at the front of the old "park" property.

Prior to retaining the contractor for 2012, Board members met with a company representative to discuss mowing frequency, leaf collection and  weed control procedures.   It is anticipted that some grass planting will be done in the Spring along the "park" property in an effort to reduce the erosion that took place during heavy rains.
