Changes for the Better

Only a few years ago, Downtown Atlanta was not a place to live. Housing was scarce and, moreover, with little community and not much in the way of services, it wasn't a place many wanted to live. As we move forward in the twenty-first century, however, Downtown is awash in residential options, with apartments, lofts and condominiums located throughout Downtown in both new and renovated buildings.

About the Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association

The Atlanta Downtown Neighborhood Association (DNA) is a non-profit neighborhood group made up of Downtown Atlanta residents, Downtown Atlanta businesspeople, and others in Atlanta committed to making Downtown a strong, vibrant neighborhood.
From simply offering a chance for neighbors to meet one another to setting up meetings with City Council representatives and teaming up with other local organizations like Central Atlanta Progress, the Atlanta DNA is an organization based on communication coupled with a passion for life in Downtown Atlanta.
The DNA is chiefly operated by Downtown residents, people who want to make the world around them even better. Downtown living is great, but why not make it even better? Why not improve interaction with the police, keep noise and litter under control, and encourage even more people to live and even just visit Downtown?

For more information, email downtownatl@hotmail.com or see the DNA web site at http://www.atlantadna.org/aboutdna.htm
