Ashbourne Hills Civic Association

I live on Keats Drive.  There has been a group of kids that have been terrorizing my home at night.  They have painted balled my door, threw rocks at my windows, and bang on my windows and doors and run away.  This has happened numerous times in the past month.  I have called the police but they arrive too late.  I am wondering if we still have the Town Watch that I see signs for and how can they be contacted.

No, we do not have a town watch at this time.  At the last few civic meetings and events the board of the association asked for volunteersbut was unable to garner enough interest to restart a town/community watch.  Please make sure to report each incident to the police.  I'm sure it is frustrating that the culprits have not been apprehended, but reporting each event to the police is the best way to make sure that eventually the guilty party(ies) get what they deserve.

when was the last time this has happened? my house was also vandalized these kids need to stop, where are the parents??

Ours happened on New Years Eve, have a mother that is 96 years old, they run up to the house, hit the windows or doors, and run away.  I am installing outdoor video cameras to catch them and prosecute them once we have identified them.  Sorry you have been vandalized, I agree we need to stop them now.  Cannot answer where parents are, but we have no interaction with kids whatsoever.  I would like to get together and talk about getting the neighborhood watch up and running also.
