About the Neighborhood - Claymont

Claymont is located 20 minutes from the Philadelphia Airport, just north of Wilmington, Delaware. The town is a very diverse area with many schools, community services, and businesses. You may have heard of the Claymont Renaissance, a huge project that involves the rebuilding of the old Brook View townhome complex and the revamping of Philadelphia Pike, the main road that services Claymont. For more information please visit the Claymont Renaissance website (click the link below).

Ashbourne Hills

Ashbourne Hills is a community of 607 houses, making it the largest development in Claymont. The community is comprised of ranch and split-level single-family homes, that vary in individual style and size. There is a good mix of young and older residents, and there is a large number of families with school-age children. Ashbourne Hills is one of the most desirable neighborhoods in Claymont because of its convenient location, friendly neighbors, and of course its strong and active Civic Association!
