There have been some accidents and concerns about the safety of our young kids and mothers especially with the speeding traffic during the drive times in the am and the pm. Should we add something to the Pleasant St- Alfred Stone situation to slow down traffic?   Radar patrols generally catch our neighbors...but ideas are needed for alternatives! Laughing

CoolSpeed bumps, stop signs and more traffic lights have also been suggested...but perhaps some creative signing with crosswalks and other repaintings might help....including just the electronic mileage indiciator that you are doing 40mph in a 20 mph zone? Laughing

Good idea to check out a complete of these new thorofares...How about the graffitti of telephone poles holding trash like Power Road for signs galore from roofing to Del's lemonade?

You can call code enforcement Ron Travers office at City Hall for those posters.....x347 or even Jack Carney at 236 for DPW. Note Jack's office will take care of passing on the pole numbers for lights out to National Grid and repair the potholes that seem to be increasing..
