Oakland is a community working hard to make a come back. We have strong neighborhood groups and community centers actively working to strengthen our area and create a strong, supportive neighborhood. We have many activities and programs for our children and adults. The Abraham Lincoln Center and the Kenwood Oakland Community Organization are both leaders in these efforts. Homes are both single and multi-family. There has been recent, strong re- development and renovations throughout the neighborhood.
