Metro New Castle County Clubs & Organizations Friends of Historic Glasgow (Delaware) Another Glagow Area Rev War site threatened (11/1/09) How you can help As revealed in the Delaware Way blog, another Glasgow area Revolutionary War site is being threatened by encroachment. See the below link for additional information. You can help to minimize invasion of the historic Cooch's Bridge battlefield site by emailing or writing to the New Castle County Historic Review Board and asking that W.L. Gore abandon its plans for a commercial warehouse on this hallowed ground, letting the area around Cooch's Bridge remain a park. The email address for the Historic Review Board is LandUse@nccde.org.
