The greatest threats to a senior's well-being and trust are frauds and con games. These scams can take their entire life savings, the savings they planned to use for a good life. And, these con artists take the seniors' savings at a time when they have no real earning capacity or ability to accumulate savings. Get involved in the community, and get the community involved in helping to make seniors safer. Community partnerships are key. No one of us can do it alone. Teach Prevention Reach them where they live and play; don't expect the seniors to come to you. Your audience should include seniors, but it should also include the younger members of their family, their care-givers, as well as their neighbors and friends.
