MOTHERS DAY, MEMORIAL DAY & THE 4TH OF JULY!
Ever since Ms. Verna McDavid took over as Director of R.A.I.N. Eastchester Senior Center, we have more celebrations of everything! We also seem to have more Holidays!
Anyway. Come join us for St. Patrick's Day, Easter Luncheon, Birthdays, Mother's Day, the 4th of July, Christmas, etc. Call for times and dates: 718-882-8513 or check our Monthly Calendar.

Come on over!
We are at 1246 Burke Avenue: 718-882-8513. Also, natsim8@hotmail.com

COME VISIT OUR NEW CENTER!
Construction on our kitchen and other areas of our center began November, 2003, one day after I retired as Director of the Center. The kitchen and the entire Center has gone through a "face lift" and our Center is beautiful. Come join us for playas we continue to dance, sing, follow our hobbies (sewing, rug hooking, art, cards, board games).

For learning, we continue to meet and discuss under various auspices: African-American Culture, Current Events, Literature. We now have a Spanish as a Second Language Group in which both English speaking and Spanish speaking members learn each other's languages and culture.

COME IN FOR DAILY EXERCISE!

And, of course, we have parties, events, health & nutrition lectures all the time!

Make sure to visit our calander and Newsletter on this web site.

SINGING, DANCING & SHOPPING
R.A.I.N Eastchester Senior is a microcasm of the larger community of Eastchester Gardens, the neighborhoods, the city of New York, and, of course, the Country of these United States. We believe it is important to know something about each others cultures and beliefs. We espouse understanding and tolerance at our Center. This gives us much to celebrate and to be proud of! Join our wonderful diversity!

We celebrate and mark our diversity in many ways. We are particulaly proud of our Nutrition Program here at the Center, and in particular, our nutritious meals served daily --Breakfast and Lunch.
But come and meet our members. You will be so glad you did!

See the many articles, recipes, information, calendar and updated section on our daily, monthly and special events and activities.
