Mrs. Banks and Rev. Banks ' Testimonies

Connie Banks shared her testimony by reflecting on her life in Philadelphia, marrying Joe in 1962, and their three children. She said she has sought to encourage and support her husband in every way.

Joe Banks shared his testimony noting that he came to faith in 1955 through the ministry of Youth For Christ. He then entered the navy from 1962-1977. After which he became interested in starting a Christian elementary school. He and his family moved to Warsaw in 1980 and he retired from Bristol Meyers Squibb in 1997. In 1999 he joined Southside Opportunity Service after seeing Fort Wayne’s homicides double that year. The church ordained Minister Banks on August 23 and presented to him an NIV Study Bible by Southern Heights Baptist Church. Our thanks to the Council!
