I have had numerous neighbors asking about our mailbox and our neighbors on Portobello Ave. They would like to know where we got them. Our mailbox at 915 W. Portobello was purchased at Lowe's. Our neighbor across the street purchased his from a company called Mailguard. Their toll free number is 877-624-5482. You may also locate this company on the internet at info@mailguard.net. Mailboxes that only allow mail to be removed with a key are one way to hopefully protect our mail from being stolen. Also, it may be best to send your mail from the post office or a blue box, as long as the mail is not left in the box over night. Also, if you are heading out of town, ask your neighbor to pick up your mail and hold it, or put a hold on your mail through the post office.(I have extra forms at my house if you need one.)
