Spring Lakes

Due to the holidays and the cold weather, I haven't taken my dogs for a walk lately. But this morning as I was walking my dogs I noticed tire tracks in the grass at the south end of the park. These tracks look like they were made a while back because the mud on the walkway that was left behind from the tires is dry. But there are gouches in the grass left behind from the tires.

Then when I reached the end of the path by Blue Mound Rd, there are piles dog droppings on the grass between the path and the bridge. These piles were not made by a small dog either.

When I take my dogs for a walk I carry several bags with me so I can clean up after them. It's not a difficult thing to do, I just don't understand why other people just don't do it.

I really hate to see the privillage of walking my dogs on the pathway (they are also on their leashes at all times) be taken away because of other people are lazy and won't clean up after their own dogs.

Park

I too have noticed a few things not right at the Park and on the City's end of the trail you mentioned.

First of all the County property.
The flag at the Park is hanging at half mast and by one hook. I encourage you all with email to email Supervisor about this: ldebruin@milwcnty.com

The dog doo and other stuff mentioned is at the Citys Property. The Citys portion of the path and Parkway at Clybourn Street going north to Bluemound Rd.
I think we all should drop Aldrrman Murphy a line about that.

PICK YOUR DOGS POOP

I ALWAYS SEE A BIG SHEPARD BEING WALKED AT THAT END OF THE PATH. THE GUYS NAME IS GEORGE I BELIEVE HE HAS A SHEPARD THAT HE WALKS AND LETS POOP AT THE PARK, WHY DONT HE LET IT DO ITS JOB IN HIS DOUBLE WIDE LOT.
PLEASE TRY TO BE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR PETS SO THE REST OF US DON'T SUFFER FOR YOUR LAZIENESS.

Call and Report IT

If a dog owner is leaving his dog poop outside without picking it up they can get a ticket from the police.
I am not sure but I think they can get it just based on your complaint, but you have to be willing to be the complaintant and be able to give a time, place and date, etc.

I also notice lots of cats running loose down here. I found out there is a leash law for cats and they should not be allowed to run free. They like to leave little ''presents'' wherever they go as well, even though a smaller variety!
