Bricks!

We are finally putting in a brick walkway in front of the house. I am doing all the work myself. The bricks were free from a homeowner who needed to clear them out of his yard. Yippee!

The Alley Monstrosity

The 3-story commercial building on Indian School Road (across the alley from us) got a new paint job recently. The brown shade is much less stark than the original white color. Now if we can keep the grafitti vandals away from it...!
