J'en El and I have lived in Carmel Mountain Ranch since its inception. J'en El is the gorgeous one on the left; while I (Michael) am the OK one on the other side.

(By the way, I'm 59 and counting and J'en El is going on 54. Shhhh! Don't tell her I told you!)

J'en El is originally from Baltimore, Maryland and I'm from Elkins, West Virginia.

J'en El is an internationally known fashion designer who imports hand-painted silk clothing and sells them to large, medium, and small retail companies, as well as to individuals.

A few of the products she's designed are multi-colored silk scarves, puffs, and the ''Miracle Shirt.''

The ''Miracle Shirt'' is whisper-light and hand-washable. It disguises women's figure ''faults'' while enhancing their good features. It can be worn to the beach, casually, and even to semi-formal events. It comes in all sizes including oversize and is selling like hot cakes.

In addition to being a fashion designer, J'en El is a successful author and global leader in personal development. About Me.

As for me, I've worked for nearly 40 years in Wellness Promotion, Degenerative Disease Prevention, Stress Management, Substance Abuse & Alcoholism Treatment, and Personal Development from ''8 to 5'' at Drug Abuse/Alcoholism Treatment Centers, Psychiatric Facilities, Mental Health Units, Colleges, and Private Businesses. Whew!!!

About 12 years ago ago I burned out and decided to work from home. Best decision I ever made!

I still do seminars and give presentations now and then on stress management, confidence building, weight loss, nutrition, conflict resolution, and related subjects, but now it's out of ''choice'' rather than ''having to.''

More About Us!

For both of us, there's no more bumper-to-bumper, horn-blowing, exhaust-breathing, road-rage commutes. J'en El and I wake up naturally and leisurely walk 15 feet from the bedroom to our home offices. That's the length of our ''commute'' and on the way, we smile, hug, and kiss one another.

We work when we want and with whom we want. No more bosses to answer to. No more slaving away 40 hours (or more) a week at spirit killing, life-numbing jobs mostly to help make other people's dreams come true for them while sacrificing our own health and well-being. Fear of layoffs and being fired is a thing of the past for us, and thank goodness!

Now we take a break when we want for as long as we want which is allowing us to enjoy life and one another more fully than ever.

J'en El and I love to travel, dine out (especially at ethnic restaurants), exercise, go to ''matinee movies'' (so we don't have to stand in line to get a ticket), let people know about the work we do, and how anti-aging nutrition and skin care has helped us stay young, healthy, and vital. And, for those who are interested, we also let them know there's a way they can create a stream of extra income...and quite a bit of it. After all, nowadays, it's absolutely necessary to create ''Multiple Streams of Income''' especially if they're ''residual'', which means you get paid over and over again and the money keeps coming in even while you're asleep, at the movies, or dining out.

Most people work for ''linear'' income. For every hour they work they get paid for an hour. And the only way to earn more money that way is work even more hours, maybe even 2 or 3 jobs! Individuals and families everywhere are stuck in this trap and it's killing their health, aliveness, and relationships. It's horribly sad. But the good news is that there's a way out. J'en El and I found it and are living it!
