''... is a very, very, very fine house.''

We've been living at 4806 Wesleyan since 1992. Former owners of our house probably won't recognize it because of the landscaping and remodeling we've created.

To explain our reasoning for removing most of the grass from the front yard, you must know that Mark and I are from the Woodsy Owl generation. We wanted our little bit of land to be ecologically responsible and nature-friendly. We also took advantage of the city rebate offer to conserve water.

Mostly, though, we landscaped our front yard in a way that we think is very beautiful.

Mr. Peavy - the teacher

They say owners look like their dogs. We're a Corgi family. Not to be outdone by his ''Dad's'' website, Basil has one of his own; it's listed in our ''What we mean by...'' section.
