Mike and Bonnie
Mike and Bonnie were married in 1963; in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Mike graduated from college in 1964 after which the Shermers moved to Pine Bluff, Arkansas and later to North Little Rock, Arkansas. The Shermers moved to Memphis in 1973 when Mike took a position with the newly formed FedEx Corporation, when there were only 200 employees. They have two children living in the Atlanta and Fort Worth areas; and two guy grandchildren. Mike retired from FedEx in 1994 three days after a tornado hit the neighborhood (no electricity for three weeks).
Mike and Bonnie moved to Schilling Farms over a five month period in 2006.
