A little about us....

Paul and I (Angie) met in 2000 and got married in 2001. I had two children from a previous marriage: Erik and Karin Lundgren (age 17 and 15 respectively). Paul and I met through an internet travel club--I was living in CT at the time and he was here in LA. After a long-distance friendship and a few years of long-distance marriage we were finally able to move here--and have enjoyed every minute of it!

We were blessed to have found the bit of property we now have our house on, lot #75, 18157 Kenner Dr. We love the lake, having nature around us, watching the birds and other wildlife, and we've met some really friendly neighbors. We enjoy the peace and quiet of the early morning on our back patio, or the hum of activity in the evening as people take their dogs or kids on walks, or go out fishing on the lake. I sometimes miss the mountains of the northeast, but I thoroughly enjoy the ''big sky'' down here and the gorgeous sunsets. I DON'T miss the long northeast winters!

I work as a registered nurse working in the EBR School System and Paul works in sales in Baton Rouge. We're busy but we're thankfully employed :)

Erik is a senior at Hosanna Christian Academy (his choice) and Karin is a sophomore at St. Amant HS (her choice).

We hope we get to know more of all of you as time goes on, and we're hoping the neighborhood continues to grow harmoniously.

The furry member of our family

Although we can't include a picture here we have to give honorable mention to our 15-pound Rat Terrier named Stella, who thinks all big dogs are play pals and all little dogs are to be barked and growled at. If you ever see a small black, white and brown dog with very little tail running around loose, PLEASE give us a call! Stella doesn't know the meaning of ''come home'' so we try to keep her indoors or on a run outside the house. She should never be alone. She answers to her name and she can be enticed with a dog treat. She is very friendly and loves people but she hasn't learned yet that jumping on people isn't exactly what is considered good manners.
If you see her loose, please call us at 622-6566.

What we endeavor to live by:

''Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?'' Jesus replied: '' 'Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.'This is the first and greatest commandment. And the second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'
