Peter is from Canada and works with an agency that promotes community self reliance called ''World Neighbors. Alice is from Ghana originally and works as a teacher at Westminster School

After serving one year as vice President, Peter was elected as President of the Sequoyah Neighborhood Association in Dec 03.
