This is Home!

Both my husband and I grew up in the area. I learned to ride my bike in Landover while my husband was terrorizing the Burton neighborhood. Its a pleasure to explore the parks and streets in our area through the eyes of a child all over again!

At the end 2008 I became involved with the Fircrest Neighborhood Association and am the Secretary and Newsletter Editor for the second year running.  I've also recently signed on to be the site manager for the Community Food Garden in Leroy Haagen Park.

I enjoy getting involved in my community, mingling with neighbors and working toward common goals with them to enjoy and enrich our neighborhood.
