Pam and Dave Shimberg were among the first five (5) residents of the Mallard Ridge community.  Their two sons are both married, with children of their own.  Their younger son Brian, a paramedic with MEDIC, recently joing the Mallard Ridge Community, buying a house on Mallard Ridge Drive.

Dave is a professional business continuity and disaster recovery planner and active member of the Lions, and enjoys riding his 1998 Vulcan 800 motorcycle, which, he claims, his sons forced him to buy.

Pam is a social worker with DSS for Mecklenburg County.
