This turtle magically appeared in my pond one late summer day. He befriended my fish, took food from my hand, liked to climb up the waterfall and sun himself on the rocks, then he'd jump down and dive back into the water...  I was mesmerized!!! He stayed several weeks, then one fall day was spotted being followed by a neighbor as he crossed the street on his way back to George Ward Park. A rare gift for a city dweller. My sweetest memories to date.
