A little about me

I was born & raised in Wisconsin. After graduating from high school, I enlisted in the U.S. Army rather than being drafted, so that it would be my choice of job skill & duty location. It was a good decision & I enjoyed it. After being discharged 3 years later I decided to move to Tucson and avoid those cold winters back home.

I have lived in different parts of Tucson since January 1976, but for the past 28 years I have enjoyed this area the most. Needless to say, I have seen of lot of changes in the neighborhood.

I attended my first Neighborhood Assoc. meeting in 1999, shortly after my neighborhood was included in the new neighborhood boundaries. In 2002 I was elected Vice President & later became President.

I enjoy U of A sports and a wide variety of motorsports, especially drag racing.

I adopted ''Nikki'' a Chow/Pit mix, from the Humane Society in April 2007. She was a real handful at the time, but in the past year has calmed down & really likes her new home & best friend.
