ABOUT MY ROOTS IN CRESCENT HILL

I was born in 1943 to Charles Edward and June Elizabeth (Wilbur) Koch.

My Great-Grandparents and Grandparents owned lots of rental property in the Crescent Hill Area. We lost most of it in the tornado.

My grandparents, John and Ella Wilbur, lived at 105 Forest Court which had been made into a 4-plex. There were two large apartments and two smaller ones (which were furnished). I wouldd help my grandmother clean-up apartments when tenants moved out. Many seminary students rented the apartments.

I have been Historian for the Crescent Hill Community for several years and love it. 

Crescent Hill is such a unique neighborhood.
