I am the current President of South Oakwood Brookhaven Neighborhood Organization (SOBNO). I have lived in the community for 55 years. I attended Paul Revere Elementary and James H. Bowen High School. Went to Undergraduate at EIU and graduate at NIU. Was an educator with Decatur Public Schools, Chicago Public Schools, NIU and New Orleans School System. I have been a member of several community organizations and participated on several community projects. I love this community and feel if we ALL continue to work together our community will flourish!
