My family and I have lived in Goose Hill, Schenectady, New York for over 80 years.

I have served as the President of the Goose Hill Neighborhood Assocition and am now the Vice President.

I also served as a County Legislator from this area for 12 years.

We have an active neighborhood association with consistent attendance every month.  We meet at the former Westminster Church on the corner of Avenue A and Mason streets.

I also serve as the Captian of the Goose Hill Neigborhood Watch.  We are actively recruiting new volunteers for "window watchers"and "communication specialists" for mobile patrol and foot patrol duty.  Free training and radio equipment are provided by the City of Schenectady and our volunteers.

I believe that strong, safe neighborhhods are essential to a safe community and quality of life issues.
