Hello Neighbor,

Thank you for visiting my profile here, I am very interested in fulfilling my duty and passion for building up my community and my city. I was born in Missouri in the mid- 50's and have lived here for only the past ten years  I work in behavioral health with people who have addiction challenges. I also have a business that supports local merchants with financing for their customers.

I have many interests outside of my work and business; church is the most important interest in my life. Next to that is probably golf. But I rarely have time or the opportunity to hit the green. My passion is to be of service to others, so I don't spend much time outside of that duty.

I've created a profile here to help me facilitate a project that I've started. It's called; The Shop Local Building Blocks Project. This project was designed to develop meaningful and useful relationships between local consumers and local merchants, in an effort to foster more support for communities. The goal of this project is to save our communities from the rising threat of blight. Blight is the result of the collapse and failure of local merchants in a community. The effects of blight bring down the value of property and erode the quality of life for a whole community.

I've seen this because I grew up in Chicago, and have traveled and lived in many cities across the nation.  My purpose here is to make friends and network with people who are caring and concerned about the communities they live in. I welcome your friendship and really appreciate your feedback. We can make a difference in our lives and stand for something that makes a difference for our families, our neighbors and our children.
