I have been serving as an Organizer with Springfield Promise Neighborhood since July 2010. And it has been truly awesome. There are over 4,500 people living in the area and I've had the good fortune of meeting, and serving alongside, many of you. Every single one of us brings to the table a unique set of dreams and passions, of abilities and skills, and of knowledge and insight.

How amazing it has been to watch people coming together, many for the first time, to use their gifts to start to make this a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I salute the many that have already gotten involved. And I welcome all those that would like to join us in shaping the very future of this community toward a Promise Neighborhood; that is, toward a neighborhood that does everything possible to ensure the success and wellbeing of ALL of its children and youth.
