Citizens For A Safer Florida Citizens for A Safer Florida, Inc was formally organized in 2008. Our purpose is to promote, educate and facilitate a safer environment for citizens of Florida, especially for children and animals. We intend to direct our efforts to maintain safety in all sectors of Florida's society; make Florida a safe place to live, raise our children, and to work. We are directly involved with issues regarding safety, including, but not limited to; children's safety, quiet use and enjoyment of our properties, animal safety, oversight on products sold and used in Florida that will cause unnecessary harm to Florida's environment and the health and welfare of all its citizens. Our First Initiative For the past 2 years, we have been networking statewide to campaign against the illegal use of ''Consumer Fireworks'', close the loopholes, and work to strengthen the current FS 791 that will afford relief for those who have suffered unnecessary harm, and we are continuing these efforts in 2010. Our Presence in Tallahassee We have hired a lobbyist in the past, to approach the Florida Legislative Session, and will continue with our quest in 2010; to make our concerns known, and to facilitate our collective efforts to educate, promote, advocate, lobby our Legislators, so that we will be afforded our rights to live safely, and free from harmful products by being an effective force to ensure the safety of all Florida Citizens.
