Old Business:

Murry was told by MSD that it would cost about $300,000 to stop the erosion occurring around both lakes. There is a possibility that, when the 72" pipoe goes into the north ditch, both lakes will be drained. In the meantime, we will try to get some extra funding to help with the cost of rocking the eroding sections.

On behalf of Yorktown North Maintenance Association, Charles notified 12 residents that they would be taken to small claims court fur us to recover annual dues and late fees. Nine of those elected to settle and pay; two more agreed to settle before March 8.

* Notice will be given in our next newsletter that residents who fail to pay annual dues on time will be taken to small claims court where they will pay dues, late fees, and court costs.

Vicki moved that Charles be reimbursed for his costs in terms of gasoline, parking, and registered letters. Linda seconded; all approved.

Mark is still checking on the cost of hiring someone to trap lakeside muskrats this spring.

Charles is scheduled to meet with landscaper Ed Nelson to decide on the trees we want planted along National Turnpike where spaces now exist in front of the fence-line.

Christie Van Buren is creating a letter that will be given to all residents for them to complete and mail to MSD concerning our desire to have MSD stop the lake erosion. Mark will contact Christie to see if this letter is ready.

Dixie Sanitation is offering free backdoor pick up for six months to homeowners over the age of 62.
